A well written and researched insight into the lives of people passing through the London underground, past and present. This book has romance, ghosts, tragedy and humour. I really enjoyed it throughout and would recommend it as a delightful read. Grab a cuppa and put your feet up with one of these short stories and you won't be disappointed!

A very recommended book. All these seven stories are full of a strength I have hardly found in other publications. The book is not only entertaining but very informative also. I have travelled along the net of London's underground train system many times and now I can see it with a different outlook. The book is also emotional and full of feelings. You wonder, will I be the main charachter of a story taking place in one of the stations I usually pass?. The book also contains useful historical information. An awesowe book, a good value for your money.

This book is a wonderful mixture of history and nowadays, facts and fiction. All the stories are interesting and I could imagine everything, the persons got alive in my mind. I don't even know which story is the best, I liked so much all of them. This book is very strong and will stay in your mind a long time. Very much recommended! Looking forward a new book by Evi!

I read this book within one day. I simply could not let it off my hands. Seven very well-devoloped stories with sentiment. Different characters with different stories from different time-periods. All of them have something in common, a station from the London Tube network affect more or less their lives. A very nice book which includes historic information about London Tube and the English history in such a way that you learn things without even realizing it. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wish a great book to read.

This is a wonderful and well written book of short stories. The reader is allowed to see into the world of just a few of the hundreds of people who have used the underground mass transit. Each one letting you take a peek into their lives and how it was changed in some way by this world beneath the streets of London. No matter what genre you enjoy reading I recommend getting this book. It will leave you with a desire of wanting more. The stories will stay with you long after you finish reading the book.
